Chapel FM – Open Day Jan 2017

Chapel FM Open Day
1-4pm Saturday 28th January 2017

“Chapel FM is an amazing part of the East Leeds community. It has helped lots of people–giving them a voice and teaching them skills.” – Vicky Robinson

Over 10,000 people visited Chapel FM Arts Centre last year which is great. But of course there are lots of people who have never been through the glass door since we opened in October 2014.

So we would like to invite anyone to come and join us on the afternoon of Saturday 28th January at any time between 1-4pm. We will be showcasing some of the fantastic work that’s been created at Chapel FM over the last few months and also give everyone, whatever age or background, an opportunity to find out about ways that you can get involved.

On the day you will be able to:
Have a go at your own creative writing and fun broadcasts
Watch some fabulous local live music
Find out about opportunities to get involved with our broadcasting groups, Find Your Frequency courses and Open Mic nights
Let us know your thoughts and ideas for a new website and plans to further develop the Centre.

Get involved volunteering to help at the Centre and even on our new allotment!
Meet people involved with Chapel FM and enjoy some tea and cake…

If you can’t make it on the Open Day then don’t forget we run a Community Café every Thursday, Come along any time between 10am and 4pm for a cuppa and some home-made cake. You can even join in with our Open Voices group in the morning if you fancy a sing!
