Sue Ryder – Running for Wheatfields Hospice

Running for Wheatfields Hospice

On Sunday 8th May, Seth Chapman is taking on the Leeds Half Marathon for the first time to raise money for Sue Ryder Wheatfields Hospice after they looked after his auntie.
Seth has never taken part in a run before so he’s pretty nervous about it. “I don’t know how I will feel after the run but what I do know is that I will complete the race. I’ve been training for this run since half way through January. I’ve been running on the local streets and in the gym and currently started swimming.”
After experiencing first-hand the care provided by Sue Ryder, Seth was passionate about helping his local hospice. Wheatfields Hospice has been close to his heart ever since they cared for his auntie, Gail, who sadly passed away in the hospice after an 8 year battle with cancer.
Running for Wheatfields Hospice will ensure you get incredible support. On the day we will be there cheering you on and we will even welcome you over the finish line with a post-race reception. If like Seth you haven’t taken part in a running event before, don’t worry. Once you are a part of team incredible we will offer you invaluable training advice and support. Every runner will receive their team incredible kit including running vest and 15% off at Up and Running in Headingley.
