Got myself a cryin’, talkin’, sleepin’, walkin’, livin’ doll

Got to do my best to please her just cos she’s a livin’ doll

Got a rovin’ eye and that is why she  satisfies my soul

I got the one and only walkin’ talkin’ livin’ doll.

There’s only one place to start, a tribute to the comic genius of Rik Mayall who was so influential in our youth, who can forget the Young Ones, Bottom, Kevin Turvey etc, he will be sadly missed, especially by Cliff! Anyone who wants to see his mate Ade Edmondson can see The Bad Shepherds playing on Friday the 4th July at Libby’s @ 37 (formerly Garforth Liberal Club) and check out Garforth Arts Festival this July, some good bands playing the Playground Party check it out on:  www.garforthartsfestival.co.uk.

Also turning the clock back are Red Eagle events who are putting on a nostalgia fest of Mod & Ska at the Millennium Square on 2nd August. Bernie Rhodes knows – don’t argue.  Anyway, we’ve all the usual plus Dane from Natural Stone tells us how to erect a statue of a horse on a roundabout, it’s not as easy as it sounds. Liz and Kevin introduce us to their world of fashion in York and if it’s all   getting a bit too much Tracy is back with her meditation classes. Lastly, we’ve a Kenzi UK fashion video and the horse galloping into place on Wetherby roundabout.

Anyway interested in playing or watching a bit of live music, try the Wykebeck Arms which is rapidly becoming the place for up and coming bands (old and new!) to play. Wykebeck Arms live music promo video.
