Swim The Channel Challenge 2019

 Take on the challenge of swimming from Dover to Calais, but in the comfort of a swimming pool. Aim to complete the 21 miles in 12 weeks or less, between 1 April and 24 June.

If you’re an experienced swimmer or are looking to improve, this is a great way to work towards a goal whilst supporting a fantastic cause.

It’s free to register and we’ll send you a fundraising pack with everything you need to complete the challenge including:

A sponsor form and advice about setting up an online page
A diary to keep track of your lengths
Fundraising hints and tips

Yorkshire 3 Peaks

On Saturday 22 June 2019 take on the iconic Yorkshire 3 Peaks for St Gemma’s Hospice.

Information Evening – Tuesday 5 March (details below)

Test your stamina and take on the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, aiming to complete it in under 12 hours. 

You’ll be supported every step of the way by expert guides from Carnegie Great Outdoors who will keep you motivated throughout. The challenge suits people of all abilities and you can take part as an individual or in groups of friends, family or colleagues. 

Registration costs £40 per person and includes:

Water and snack stations at key points along the route – less for you to carry!

A dedicated, experienced mountain guide per group of 10 walkers

A St Gemma’s Hospice branded sports vest

Medal and certificate

Information pack including kit list

Help with training advice
